The University of Queensland Faculty of Arts was established in 1909 as a foundation faculty of the University of Queensland.

The Arts faculty comprises the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics, School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies, School of Music and the School of English, Media Studies and Art History.
